Amber Heard was diagnosed with post-traumatic disorder due to abuse by Johnny Depp
Forensic and clinical psychologist Don Hughes observed Amber Heard for 29 hours, conducted a series of tests, and also spoke with her mother and other doctors. According to the Washington Post, a specialist diagnosed the actress with post-traumatic stress disorder.
Hughes said that the diagnosis she gave Heard was related to violence from Depp. However, she counted that she did not conform with the methods and conclusions of the psychologist Shannon Curry, who was hired by Depp. Curry previously stated that the ex-wife of the actor suffers from a borderline personality disorder and hysterical personality disorder.
Psychologist Shannon Curry, hired by actor Johnny Depp’s legal team, diagnosed his ex-wife Amber Heard during a court hearing in Fairfax, People reports.
According to the expert, the actress suffers from a borderline personality disorder and hysterical personality disorder. These conclusions were made by Curry on the basis of the case documents, which included medical information about Heard’s health, photographs, video footage, recordings of her telephone conversations, and testimony from witnesses. In addition, she had several personal meetings with the actress. Curry also stressed that she did not find signs of post-traumatic stress disorder in Heard.
According to Hughes, Depp did use “serious acts of violence” against his ex-wife. The psychologist added that Amber was abused as a child by her father, who had violent outbursts. The expert explains that the actress resorted to “minor forms of violence” as she screamed and threw things around during her wedding to the Pirates of the Caribbean star.
Earlier, Johnny Depp’s bodyguard Starling Jenkins confirmed under oath that Amber Heard had soiled the actor’s bed with feces. According to him, the incident occurred on April 21, 2016.
