Week 18 in review: Amazfit watches and Infinix phone leak
The first week of May was a realatively calm one when it comes to actual announcements, meaning the best read stories on our website focused on leaks instead.
As a testiment to the growing popularity of Infinix, the leak of its upcoming Note phone gathered the most interest, follwed by an extensive early reveal of Amazfit’s upcoming smartwatches.
Meanwhile Samsung unveiled a new UFS standard that will enable even faster storage for the smartphones of the future. The Korean company also launched a new series of microSD cards, but those are hardly designed with smartphones as their first priority as microSD card slots are increasingly rare these days.
