Gigi Hadid to launch a collection of children’s swimwear
Gigi Hadid to launch a collection of children’s swimwear. Model Gigi Hadid collaborates with Frankies Bikinis to develop a new swimwear collection for mothers and children. So writes about this publication Page Six.
Gigi Hadid loves working out with her 1-year-old daughter Khai Malik, so it’s no wonder her new collection for Frankies Bikinis will feature swimwear for kids. On all products, the model used the same print with the image of a mother deer and her fawn as on the adult swimsuits, which symbolizes Gigi herself and her daughter Khai.
Francesca Aiello, the founder of Frankies Bikinis and childhood friend of Gigi Hadid, said she was thrilled to add children’s swimwear to her label.
“I think that the models that we designed with Gigi will be cute and practical. We put a lot of love into the collection, and we believe that mothers and babies will feel and appreciate it,” she said.
The Lil Frankies collection, which will be available on June 2, will include nine models: bikinis and one-piece swimsuits for girls, shorts for boys, as well as leisurewear, and accessories. The collection is available in 2, 4, and 6-year sizes, with prices for bikinis and shorts ranging from $40 to $75.
Earlier, it reported that Chanel presented bags in the form of tennis rackets and motorcycle helmets. On May 5, the Chanel Resort 2023 cruise collection was shown in Monte Carlo, Monaco. Models paraded down a makeshift sand runway, and celebrity guests, including star Kristen Stewart with fiancee Dylan Mayer, actresses Tilda Swinton and Vanessa Paradis, watched the fashion sun lounger show. When creating a new collection, Virginie Viart, creative director of the French fashion house Chanel, was inspired by the Monaco Grand Prix, a Formula 1 race that will be held on May 29 at the Monte Carlo city circuit in Monaco.
