Ubisoft’s China-Exclusive Rabbids Game Getting Global Switch Release

It’s that time of the month when every company is releasing its earnings report, and with this, come a slew of game announcements.

On the Ubisoft front, it’s been revealed the French publisher and developer will be bringing its China-exclusive Rabbids release to the Nintendo Switch here in the west at some point between now and June. It’s officially listed as Rabbids: Party of Legends in the earnings report, but could potentially be localised as Rabbids: Adventure Party.

This game, which is said to be inspired by Journey to the West (a classic piece of Chinese literature), was originally released on the Nintendo Switch in China in 2019 and is a party game where you play a variety of minigames using the Joy-Con controllers.

Ubisoft is also currently working with Nintendo to bring Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope later this year. It’s the follow up to the original 2017 release, Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle.
