Jeff Bridges Is The Real Life Super Man; Survives COVID And Cancer At The Same Time

COVID-19 changed the lives of people around the world drastically. It was a hard fought battle and it continues to be fought today in many parts of the world. The pandemic resulted in the loss of many precious lives and in the end brought a lot of people a brand new perspective on life.

The Big Lebowski actor Jeff Bridges recently shed light on how he almost became one of the precious lives that we lost along the way and how his battle for his health brought a completely new perspective on life for him.

Bridge had it as worse as one could last year as he not only battled COVID-19 but was also fighting with cancer at the same time. The actor had a massive tumor about 12 by 9 inches in size. Bridges remarked it was like having a small child inside his body.

There was widespread panic and anxiety about possibly facing ones own mortality when the pandemic first hit but Bridges had a very good to be suffering from it. Bridges reveals that his wife, Susan wasn’t sure he’d make it out of the terrible ordeal alive and Bridges himself worried the same. He talked about how the doctors were urging him that he must fight both of the terrible conditions; the doctors were concerned that Bridges was giving up and truth be told, he was. “I was in surrender mode,” Said the 72-year-old, “I was ready to go. I was dancing with my mortality.”

However, defying all expectations, Bridges came out of the other side a new man. Bridges is as of now COVID-19 free and said that his cancer is in remission.

Bridges says the battle brought a completely new outlook on life for him. He says, “Love is the deal.” Bridges revealed that after staring at his own mortality in the face, his appreciation for love in life has heightened in terms of both giving and receiving. The actor took away the most positive lesson from the experience that he could and fans, friends and family alike are all happy to see him heathier and back on his feet.
