The third day of celebrations on the occasion of the platinum anniversary of Elizabeth II ended with a grand concert in the square near Buckingham Palace in London.

In the end, the grandson of Elizabeth II, Prince William, and the heir to the throne, Prince Charles, took the stage in turn, who also congratulated the Queen on her anniversary. Among those present were also Kate Middleton with George and Charlotte, Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice.

Recalling the Queen’s 1989 Christmas message, in which she called on all nations to work together to protect the earth for “our children and our children’s children,” William said: “This is my strong hope.
