Jennifer Lopez to present Generation Award at MTV Movie & TV Awards 2022

The TV channel announced the good news on Friday, the event itself will take place this Sunday. The show, hosted by Vanessa Hudgens, will air live from Santa Monica on MTV at 8:00 pm ET. The award highlights the impact J.Lo has had on modern culture, as it is given to actors whose contribution to film and television is hard to overestimate.

Previous recipients of the award include Scarlett Johansson, Dwayne “The Rock ” Johnson, Chris Pratt, Will Smith, Reese Witherspoon, Robert Downey Jr., Mark Wahlberg, Sandra Bullock, Jamie Foxx, Johnny Depp, Ben Stiller, Adam Sandler, Mike Myers, Tom Cruz, Jim Carrey and all of the Fast and Furious Franchise.

In addition, Aquafina will present the Genius of Comedy Award to Jack Black, along with other hosts, including Billy Eichner, Chris Evans, and Rebel Wilson.
