Lenny Henry’s Caribbean Britain, Tuesday, 21.00, BBC2

Despite there being hardly any rain, Wimbledon overran pretty extensively during the fortnight, until ten o’clock or later, and you get the feeling the Beeb were happy to let it run on if it meant they could have a few rescheduled programmes in their back pocket to provide a bit more new content during the height of summer. Hence, a few weeks later than planned – though it’s been on iPlayer since episode one went out – we finally get the second and final part of this series. In it, Lenny Lenny Len meets other second generation Caribbean Brits like himself and discusses how they’ve managed to make a huge impact on changing British culture for the better, with contributions from the likes of Jazzie B, who thirty years ago was pretty much running British music, and David Harewood. And Len’ll also look at the next generation from whom he’s an inspiration, and discuss how while they’re now an accepted and obvious part of the mainstream, they’re also looking to reconnect with their own roots.
