When a show’s description starts with “Thirteen years after being impregnated by Satan,” you know you’re in for a wild ride.

In FXX’s new animated comedy Little Demon (premiering with two episodes Thursday, Aug. 25, at 10pm ET/PT), Laura (voice of Aubrey Plaza) was a wild Wiccan who hooked up with Lucifer himself (voice of Danny DeVito) and gave birth to the Antichrist, a daughter named Chrissy (voice of Lucy DeVito, Danny’s daughter).

Since then, Laura has traveled around the country in an effort to keep Chrissy away from her dad, but the arrival of adolescence gives Chrissy some serious supernatural powers that can’t be kept under wraps. Satan — who is trying to be the cool, fun dad — wants Chrissy to join him and unite the metaphysical realms into a powerful, lawless universe for eternity … or maybe just every other weekend.

“It’s the part he was meant to play, I think!” Lucy DeVito says of her dad providing the voice of Satan. “It’s hysterically funny casting. In real life, my dad’s like the nicest, sweetest guy ever and the best dad, but he likes the dark, @#$%ed-up characters.”

Lucy DeVito lent her voice to this edition of our “5 Questions”:

1. What’s been your strangest or most interesting fan encounter?
In J. Crew once, I was shopping with a friend, buying him a blazer or something, and someone recognized me from Melissa & Joey. I don’t get recognized very often, so it was very surprising. I was like, “Hey! Alright! Cool!” They’re like, “I recognized your voice!” Which is awesome.

2. Can you tell us about a time you were starstruck?
One time I was in an elevator with Madonna. I was 14. I grew up with The Immaculate Collection, obviously. I just couldn’t believe that she was standing 5 feet away from me. I said nothing. I said absolutely nothing. All I did was quietly explode inside.

3. What’s a movie that you can watch over and over again?
The Goonies. I had that on VHS on repeat, always.

4. What’s your favorite sports team?
I grew up with the Lakers during the Kobe/Shaq days. I’m an L.A. girl.

5. What’s a job you had before your career in showbiz?
I worked at a lingerie shop. It was called Footsie. It was in Brentwood. I sold people bras and underwear for a summer. It was pretty funny.
