Nicki Minaj to Kevin Federline: Leave Britney Alone, You Punk Bish!
As you’ve likely heard by now, Kevin Federline gave his first interview in over a decade last week.
And the remarks made by the father of two have not gone over well with Britney Spears fans.
Federline informed a British TV outlet that Spears has not seen her teenage sons in several months.
He added that the boys chose not to attend Britney’s recent wedding to Sam Asghari.
According to Federline, Britney’s boys choose not to see their mother because of their embarrassment over the risqué content that Spears sometimes posts on Instagram.
Not surprisingly, many interpreted Federline’s remarks as an egregious form of shaming made all the worse by the fact that he chose to involve his children in his criticism.
Federline went on to post a video of Britney arguing with her sons.
Some felt that Kevin’s criticisms had merit, while others believed that the former backup dancer merely set out to slander and exploit his ex.
And we think it’s safe to say that Nicki Minaj is firmly in the latter camp.
Nicki spoke out against Federline’s remarks during a recent livestream, blasting Kevin as a “clown” for disparaging his ex.
“Do you understand what kind of a clown you have to be to be a whole, grown f–king man, and as soon as you see somebody happy and getting married and moving on and being free and feeling good in their own skin, to do the very thing that you know is going to attempt to break them down?” Minaj fumed.
“Only cowards use the media against a famous person who they once loved, they procreated with, they’re being taken care of by…. using the person’s fame as this constant ‘gotcha’ moment,” she continued.
“She loves her kids more than life itself,” explained Nicki.
Minaj went on to slam Federline for involving his children in his feud with their mother.
“How dare you. How dare you encourage this woman’s children to be a part of your nonsense,” she said.
“When they look back, they’re gonna say, ‘Why, why, why did we do this?’ They’re kids. They don’t know how detrimental this is.”
Nicki concluded her rant by paraphrasing the great Chris Crocker and telling Kevin to “leave [Britney] the f–k alone.”
Clearly, Nicki is not messing around here.
And as a mom who’s also one of the most famous musicians on the planet, Minaj is uniquely qualified to comment on Britney’s situation.
Nicki and Britney collaborated on a song called “Till the World Ends” in 2011.
And while it doesn’t appear that the two pop icons are particularly close friends, we’re sure they enjoy a special bond as living music legends who happen to go by the name “Mom” when they’re not on tour.
And if we were Kevin Federline, we would not want to mess with these two!
