Oppo Pad Air in for review

It’s raining tablets here at GSMArena.com’s HQ, and the latest slate to arrive at our office for a full review is the Oppo Pad Air in Grey color. There’s also a Silver color model, but it’s not available in all markets.

Before we see what the Oppo Pad Air has to offer, let’s take a look at its retail package, which includes an 18W power adapter, a USB-C cable, and some paperwork. The Smart Stylus Pen isn’t a part of the package and is sold separately.

The Oppo Pad Air is powered by the Snapdragon 680 SoC, runs ColorOS 12.1 for Pad, and comes with up to 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. It also has a microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 512GB.

The Pad Air is 6.94mm thin and weighs 440g. It’s built around a 10.36″ 60Hz LCD having 2,000×1,200-pixel resolution and stylus support. The Pad Air’s rear panel – made with the Oppo Glow process – has a Sunset Dune 3D Texture to help keep it free of fingerprint smudges.

The back cover of the Oppo Pad Air also sports an 8MP camera for the occasional photo and video shooting, and there’s a 5MP unit on the front for selfies and video calls.

Fueling the entire package is a 7,100 mAh battery that draws power through a USB-C port at up to 18W. The tablet also has stereo quad speakers onboard with Dolby Atmos support. Connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.1, BLE, and Wi-Fi. The tablet doesn’t have LTE connectivity, so you’ll have to rely on Wi-Fi to access the internet.
