The Mosquito Coast returns for season two on Apple TV+ November 4. The ten episode season will release episodes weekly through January 6. Based on Paul Theroux’s best-selling novel, the series follows the dangerous journey of Allie Fox, a brilliant inventor and stubborn idealist, who uproots his family on a dangerous quest to find refuge from the U.S. government, cartels, and hitmen. In season two, after barely escaping Mexico with their lives, the Foxes venture deep into the Guatemalan jungle to meet up with an old friend and her community of refugees. This new refuge creates trouble for the Foxes though when they become entangled in a conflict between a local drug lord and his family. At odds about whether to settle down or keep moving, Allie and Margot pursue different paths to secure their family’s future. The outcome of which will either unite the family or tear it apart forever. 

Season two of Judy Justice will premiere on Amazon Freevee November 7. A new episode will be released every weekday until December 16, with a second installment of episodes coming in 2023. Joining Judge Sheindlin in the courtroom once again are bailiff Kevin Rasco, a retired Los Angeles probation officer; and court stenographer Whitney Kumar, a board-certified court reporter in the state of California. Returning for her second season as law clerk is Sarah Rose, a recent graduate of New York Law School and Judge Sheindlin’s granddaughter, extending the legacy of the television and courtroom pioneer by bringing in a new generation of legal analysis. 

The Wonderful Autumn of Mickey Mouse will premiere on Disney+ November 18. In a leafy hamlet, Mickey Mouse is determined to undo the failures of his family’s past after inheriting a rundown pumpkin farm from a distant relative, and the epic legend of its futility. 

Season two of The Capture will premiere on Peacock November 3. Britain is under siege: hacked news feeds, manipulated media, and interference in politics. Entrenched in the UK’s own ‘Correction’ unit, DCI Rachel Carey finds herself in the middle of a new conspiracy – with a new target. But how can she solve this case when she can’t even trust her closest colleagues? Escalating from the CCTV thriller of series one, the six-part run features ‘invisible’ assassins, the terrifying rise of deepfake technology, the ever-growing tension between government and Big Tech, and corruption at the heart of the British media. 

The Boulet Brothers’ Dragula: Titans will premiere on Shudder October 25. The spin-off series brings together some of the most popular drag icons from the show’s previous seasons competing in a grand championship of drag artistry and shocking physical challenges for a one hundred-thousand-dollar grand prize.

Sixteen celebrities will compete on Pickled, a new two hour sports comedy special featuring action packed Pickleball, America’s hottest and fastest growing sport, November 17 on CBS. The 16 celebrities who will team up and battle it out on the court are: Jimmie Allen, Murray Bartlett, Dierks Bentley, Jaime Camil, Will Ferrell, Max Greenfield, Luis Guzman, Phil Keoghan, Daniel Dae Kim, Sugar Ray Leonard, Tig Notaro, June Diane Raphael, Kelly Rowland, Paul Scheer, Aisha Tyler and Emma Watson. The National Anthem will be performed as a duet by Kenny Loggins and Stephen Colbert. 

TNT has acquired the new scripted original series The Lazarus Project. The eight episode series follows George, the latest recruit to The Lazarus Project – a secret organization that has harnessed the ability to turn back time whenever the world is at the threat of extinction. George and his colleagues are the few people on Earth with the ability to remember the events that are undone when time goes back. But when a freak accident harms someone close to George, Lazarus won’t let him turn back time to undo it unless there is the threat of global extinction. Now George must choose to stay loyal or go rogue as he faces the question of: if you had the power to re-write your past, what would you sacrifice to do it? 

The final season of Pit Bulls & Parolees will premiere on Animal Planet October 22. For over 30 years, Tia and her family have gone above and beyond to give a second chance at life to pit bulls at Villalobos Rescue Center, the largest Pit Bull rescue center in the U.S. while also offering parolees a new start as staff and volunteers. Dedicated audiences will witness higher stakes as Tia and the Villalobos crew strive to give every dog an opportunity to find their forever home and a second chance at life. And while this may be the end of one chapter, the story of redemption and rescue continues for Tia and her Villalobos family in their never-ending battle to save man and man’s best friend. 

Going From Broke returns for season three November 10 on Crackle. While the debt crisis continues to rage unabated, season three hosts Dan Rosensweig, CEO of Chegg, and financial expert Tonya Rapley dedicate their time to helping participants, as well as viewers, navigate the reality of their debt in order to become the CEO of their own lives. In the wake of “The Great Resignation” manifesting across the American workforce, this season focuses on helping people manage their debt, job insecurity and growing mental health concerns. The third season will feature a wide range of people from all walks of life, including a young couple drowning in staggering student loans with dreams of buying a home, a military veteran and his family struggling with bad financial decisions, restaurateurs whose business took a major hit during the pandemic and a single father living paycheck-to-paycheck. 

Acorn TV has renewed The Chelsea Detective for a second season. The four episode season will return in 2023 with new cases for Detective Inspector Max Arnold and the team to investigate as Detective Sergeant Layla Walsh joins Chelsea CID from Exeter. Layla isn’t wide eyed or naïve about life in London, but she is an outsider and will occasionally roll her eyes at the worst excesses of Chelsea. She loves her job and brings a direct “let’s go!” energy to the team. Layla speaks her mind and isn’t afraid to be forthright in her questioning – be that questioning a person of interest or questioning how the team investigate their cases. 

Pawn Stars hits the road for the first time visiting eight cities across America in search of rare items in the new series Pawn Stars Do America premiering November 9 on The History Channel. Each two-hour episode follows Rick Harrison, Corey Harrison and Austin “Chumlee” Russell as they step out of the World Famous Gold & Silver Pawn Shop in Las Vegas to connect with fans in eight different cities and acquire some of the most remarkable items imaginable.

Vatican Girl: The Disappearance of Emanuela Orlandi will premiere on Netflix October 20. Rome, 1983. After leaving a music lesson, 15-year-old Emanuela Orlandi vanishes – embroiling the Vatican in a decades-long mystery. 

Docuseries The Montaners will premiere on Disney+ November 9. The series follows the iconic family of the Montaners: Ricardo, Marlene, Mau, Ricky and Evaluna, and their significant others Stefi, Sara and Camilo, which have become a veritable phenomenon on social media and whose father is one of the greatest icons of Latin music. Throughout the episodes, viewers will witness, among other things, the challenges that each family member must face while trying to balance their private lives and professional careers, always in the public eye, as well as the milestones of their musical lives, their struggles and personal conflicts, and the emotions generated by the expansion of the family as new marriages are celebrated.
