The latest Japanese charts are in and there are a few newcomers to take note of in the top ten this week.

First up is Tales of Symphonia Remastered, Bandai Namco’s refreshed take on the GameCube classic, which enters the charts at number four with 21,860 copies sold on Switch. In our review of the game, we said that the title is starting to show its age now with middling combat and below par visuals.

Next, we’ve got Theatrhythm Final Bar Line, which debuts at number six having sold a total of 11,565 this week. We were a lot more positive on this one at Nintendo Life, calling it “an utterly addictive, perfectly tuned celebration of all things Final Fantasy” in our 9/10 review.

FInally, although not available on Switch, EA’s take on Monster Hunter, Wild Hearts, make a strong impression over in Japan, landing in at the number two spot with 26,905 copies sold on PS5. Meanwhile, Hogwarts Legacy continues its domination at the top with an additional 36,958 in sales.
