Hailey Bieber is trying to take things down a notch on social media.
Of course, as we’ve been reporting, all KINDS of drama has been going down online lately in and around her circle! It started back on Tuesday when Hailey and pal Kylie Jenner appeared to shade the f**k out of Selena Gomez following a post the singer had made about an unfortunate beauty mishap.
And that followed up an old TikTok video that also resurfaced earlier this week. In that new-old clip, Justin Bieber‘s wife appeared to pretend-gag when pop superstar Taylor Swift was mentioned. Not great!! Then, with all that unfortunate context coming out once again, Perezcious readers will no doubt recall how Selena herself took to TikTok at the end of this past week and stated she wasn’t going to hang out on socials much anymore. Understandable!

Now, the other shoe has dropped. On Friday, the Biebs’ 26-year-old wife took to Instagram to post a carousel of snaps taken on and around the streets of London. In a few of the urban shots, Hailey can be seen posing for the cam. In other photos, the 28-year-old pop crooner’s spouse is showing posing alongside Justin in an elevator. And, yes, there’s a photo of a proper English breakfast added in there, too. Because of course!
Hailey used a one-word caption — “Cheerio” — to top off the image set. A perfectly and delightfully British experience overall, if we do say so ourselves! Splendid, guv’nah!

But there was some drama to be dealt with, too!
At first, fans tried to flock to the snap and bury it in comments about the aforementioned spat(s) involving Taylor and Selena. But the public commentary was not meant to be! Hailey quickly limited comments on the post to avoid heat from Selena’s supporters. As you can see by clicking through on that IG embed, she censored super-fast, and only allowed her mutuals to deliver their thoughts on her images.

As you might expect, the comments Hailey did allow through were all remarkably positive and uplifting. Clearly, she was not trying to hear all the noise from the peanut gallery!!!
But is there a deeper conspiracy here? Was she trying to distract from all the Selena drama (and the Taylor controversy too)? Or was the famous Baldwin babe merely attempting to cut down on a little bit of noise while hoping to have all this hubbub blow over in the next few weeks?!
